Did you ever wonder why you get along with some people and not others? Are people more sensitive, angrier, happier, successful, playful or just really different than you? Do you want to know how to spot people's personalities? Then you have come to the right place.

Through the Elements of Astrology: Fire, Air, Earth and Water, you will be amazed what you will see. If you think about each of these elements, you begin to get the idea. Fire is warm, consuming and actively moves where it wants. Water forms to the container it is in and is soothing, calming or raging. Earth is old, reliable and heavy. Air flows everywhere and it is everywhere at the same time.

FIRE SIGNS (ARIES, March 21-April 19, LEO, July 23-August 22, SAGITTARIUS, November 22-December 21) are self-motivating and confident. Fire expands and grows in a warm, enthusiastic manner. Fiery people are motived by their aspirations. Just being around them, inspires one to move ahead. Many of our top athletes, top corporate people and world leaders are fire signs. They will be the ones who will organize an impromptu football game at a beach party. Fiery types will always be the quarterback or at a softball game, the pitcher.

Each of the elements also has a down side and fire signs are no exception. These signs can be impatient with the more sensitive types. They abhor heaviness and emotionalism. Confidence can become selfishness. Fire people are known to be impractical and lack a solid connection with their own emotions.

Fire signs can blend well with air signs. Imagine what air can do for fire. For without air, fire cannot grow and spread. Bored with intellectual types that don't go anywhere but talk excessively.

AIR SIGNS (GEMINI, May 21-June 21, LIBRA, September 23-October 22, AQUARIUS, January 20- February18) live and breathe to make connections, both socially and conceptually. The world of ideas is their home base. Very expressive both verbally and on paper. Very curious with abundant inner worlds. Many writers and public speakers are air signs.

You can always find an air sign at a party, they are the ones who are doing a great deal of talking, filling up dead air time with their words.

The weaknesses of air are too much conversations and lack of depth. They hate restrictions. Air types place too much emphases on intellect and endless discussions.

Fire signs are the best sign for air. Fire encourages confidence and gives inspirational ideas to the air types.

WATER SIGNS (CANCER, June 22-July 22, SCORPIO, October 23-November 21, PISCES, February 19-March 20) are the emotional signs of the zodiac. Find anyone who is empathic or soothing and you will find the water signs. You can't lie to a water sign, for they usually are psychic. Very sensitive to others feelings, as well as to their own. If you even find a watery type at a party, for they are very secretive and private, they will be in the corner having in-depth conversations. Passionate about everything they do from work to sexuality.

Watch out for their moodiness and obsessional qualities. Their irrational, stormy motivations will make less emotional types want to run.

Earth signs can give them the solid ground they need to built trust and the container they seek for security.

EARTH SIGNS (TAURUS, April 20-MAY 20, VIRGO, August 23-September 22, CAPRICORN, December 22-January 19) are the practical and reliable signs. Endlessly patient and rational to a point of tenacity. They love the material world. Concerned with details and results. Always asking why or how does it work? Discipline and rules are what they live by. If you need something done by a certain date or time call on an earth sign. Consistency is what drives them.

Problems arise when an earth sign is required to change what they perceive as a solid idea. At times, stubborn and too pushy.

Water feeds the earth and makes all their ideas grow. Water soothes their depressions and nurtures their hurts.

Think about the elements the next time you run into one of these people and see if you can find the elements of life within each person's personality.
